Biography
Omar Al-Sayegh is associated with PsyForU Research International as Senior Research Fellow, Employability and Higher-Education Policy. His work examines the relationship between higher education, graduate capabilities, labour-market expectations, and changing patterns of employment.
His research focuses on graduate employability, career readiness, work-integrated learning, curriculum relevance, industry–institution collaboration, professional competencies, and education-to-work transitions. He is particularly interested in how institutions can improve employment preparation without reducing higher education to narrow occupational training.
As Senior Research Fellow, Mr. Al-Sayegh contributes to employability frameworks, graduate-outcome analysis, career-readiness strategies, and policy recommendations supporting stronger connections among students, institutions, employers, and communities.
His contribution supports the mission of PsyForU Research International to promote higher-education systems that combine academic depth, practical capability, ethical responsibility, adaptability, and meaningful pathways into employment and public life.
