Biography
Arvind Menon is associated with PsyForU Research International as Project Director, Educational Measurement and Assessment Reform. His work focuses on the development of fair, valid, reliable, inclusive, and learning-oriented approaches to educational assessment.
His research examines how assessment systems can move beyond the reproduction of information and evaluate conceptual understanding, applied knowledge, competencies, problem-solving, and learner development. He is particularly interested in the relationship between classroom assessment, large-scale evaluation, psychometric quality, and instructional improvement.
As Project Director, Mr. Menon supports the development of assessment frameworks, competency indicators, formative-evaluation approaches, scoring systems, and mechanisms for communicating assessment evidence.
